Protecting Consumers

Jerry's legislation was signed into law requiring insurance companies to disclose cancellation fees to consumers prior to the creation of an insurance policy and increasing the Medical Board of California's ability to protect health care consumers by improving the regulation of physicians and surgeons. He also had legislation signed cracking down on deceptive solicitations which cost residents and businesses thousands of dollars each year.
